have a wireless networks that reliably transmit through concrete

Working on a network is the norm today for a great many companies. But wireless transmission in concrete environments or in offices spread out over several floors can quickly become very complex! Montréal company iBwave has developed an innovative solution to overcome this problem. Established in 2003 to simplify the design of in-building wireless networks, the company created its star software, iBwave Design. This innovation has since made its way around the world: over 270 telecom companies in over 70 countries are today indebted to iBwave, which helps them to design cost-efficient, wireless, in-building voice and data communication systems that are both powerful and reliable. iBwave software automatically and precisely calculates the way in which waves travel inside buildings, a task that was once done manually. Using the software, RF engineers can easily determine the placement of wireless equipment by entering layout data, specifying the location of walls, and the materials they are made of, allowing them to set up networks as effectively as possible. iBwave is included on Deloitte’s Canadian Technology Fast 50, in addition to being ranked 16th out of 100 fastest-growing companies in the country according to Profit magazine.
