Not many Québec inventors can boast at having their creation selected as a favourite new product by Time Magazine! This however, is the case with the Quick Fix, created by Laval company Inoconcepto. Headed by Jo-Anne Simard, the SME has had great success with this practical tool: a silicone spatula that clamps to the edge of a pot to keep drippings off the cooking surface. But Quick Fix isn’t Inoconcepto’s only invention! The SME has 86 innovations ready for production, and plans to market some twenty of them within the next five years. Several products can already be seen on the SME’s website, ranging from kitchen accessories to hardware, food, children’s, and holiday innovations.
