What if there was someone in your company to help you make your dreams come true? It’s quite an exciting idea… And it’s exactly what Rapid Snack—a young Montréal company specializing in cereal, fruit, and marshmallow bars—has to offer its employees. Recruited in 2010, the Dream Manager meets with the SME’s 60 employees on a voluntary basis. His mandate: to guide employees in defining and accomplishing their dreams, be they personal or professional. The goal of the program is to encourage the well-being and integration of the company’s multicultural team—made up of some 20 different nationalities—into Québec society. It’s one of the many initiatives bearing witness to Rapid Snack’s dynamic efforts in the area of human resources—efforts that were recognized at the 2010 Mercuriades, where the firm was a finalist in the Proactive Workforce Management category. This investment in its employees has also resulted in a tangible financial outcome. Rapid Snack was ranked 166th in Profit magazine’s 2010 list of fastest growing Canadian companies in the past five years. Performance... one can only dream of.
